The Research
Forecasting is a strategy that entails conducting a scientific evaluation of a particular dataset and then projecting the expectation of that analysis in the future based on that analysis. In general, we can define forecasting as the prediction of a result that will occur in the future due to the actions and facts that have happened previously and are currently occurring. Economic forecasting and meteorological forecasting are two fields where this strategy is precious. In addition to this, weather forecasting is extremely popular among the public and, as a result, is highly advantageous (Bhandari et al., n.d.).
Prediction provides insight into the potential of a situation occurring in the future, which calculates the likelihood of a particular result based on how favorable the position is. There will be anticipation regarding the outcome if there is a result to consider. The application of this technique is widely known. Individuals involved in economic transactions or company executives are well-known for hiring specialists to forecast the future when there is an excellent level of ambiguity (Bhandari et al., n.d.).
Forecasting differs from prediction because forecasting is a subset of prediction. This is because forecasting involves processing past and present information to determine future outcomes, whereas predictions are not always about the future. In other words, they are not limited by any kind of period, such as past or present (Bhandari et al., n.d.).

Identify and document one infamous prediction that came true.
Many works of fiction envisioned what it would be like if humans could travel to the moon. However, an 1865 novel by author Jules Verne came closer with more specifics than others. He even described the weightlessness that astronauts experienced in his book, which a writer in the mid-nineteenth century would have had no way of knowing. Verne also presumed that the first lunar mission would have three astronauts, although his astronauts never walked on the moon, and that the launch would take place in Tampa, Florida. Commander Neil Armstrong and lunar module pilot Buzz Aldrin were part of the American crew launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Orlando, Florida, on July 20, 1969. They landed the Apollo Lunar Module Eagle on the moon (Larkin, 2019).
Summarize it and discuss 2 forces that impact its success.
Before Apollo 11, most of the astronauts had been armed forces members. Pilot for the United States Navy, Alan Shepard became the country's first man in space. The first American to orbit the earth, John Glenn served in the Marine Corps. The three astronauts on Apollo 11 all had prior military experience, with Armstrong having served in the Navy, Aldrin, and Collins serving in the Air Force (Vergun, 2019).
The U. S. responded to the Cold War space race in which the Soviet Union launched the first artificial satellite, Sputnik, by launching the Explorer 1, which revealed the Van Allen radiation belts and eventually developed the rockets and spacecraft to transport astronauts to the moon and return them to earth safely (Harwood, 2019).
